The Desierto de Tabernas, home of many spaghetti westerns such as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Unfortunately the film sets all cost about €15 and are apparently a bit crap. There are however a fleet of cowboys on horses who hang around the motorway slip roads trying to entice you to visit.

Autumn has finally caught up with us in the Jardín de Carmen de los Mártires, Granada. Cold, hilly and grey, Granada reminded us of home, except that because we’re on holiday we were allowed to drink brandy at 11am to combat the drizzle.
